EasyFix is a free-of-charge program which you can download here.

Once you enter the chosen program module, you can access the relevant instructions in Polish and English by clicking the book icon on the toolbar.

For the Rawlplug portfolio see the products tab on our website.

If you need the catalogue in either soft or hard copy, please contact us using this form.

Blocks in the .dwg format can be generated using the EasyFix program which you download free of charge here.

EasyFix can be used to choose suitable anchors and determine their required number according to design parameters. The program allows you to select anchors for concrete applications and to choose suitable fixing solutions for safety barriers as well as for fixing insulation materials on flat roof and walls into variety if base material. Another program feature enables you to calculate the right amount of resin to be applied while fixing a rod in a hole. The EasyFix program is continuously being expanded with further modules.

Unfortunately, buying anchors online is not possible yet. We are doing our best to add this feature in the future. However, you can submit a request for proposal using the product selector.

R-KEM II and R-KER resins are supplied in packaging which enables their application by means of standard caulking guns. However, you should keep in mind that the force required to squeeze the resin out of its container is much higher than that applied to inject standard silicone. Consequently, your caulking gun should be robust enough not to get damaged in the process.

R-KEX II bonded anchors can be used in diamond-drilled holes.

Rawlplug’s resins can be installed in water-filled holes. Products such as R-KEX II, R-KER, R-KEM II, R-KF2, R-CFS+, RM-50 and RP-30 are epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resins. The European Technical Approval of these products contains relevant entries on the conditions of use of these resins.

The number of fixing operations you can perform using resin depends on the hole diameter and the resin container size. We recommend that you download the  EasyFix program, which features an accurate resin consumption calculator.

Heating an anchor to high temperatures will exert a negative effect on its load capacity. While welding, you should ensure optimum weld cooling in order to control heat transfer to the anchor.

R-KEM II – 175 ml, 300 ml, 380 ml, 410 ml
R-KER – 280 ml, 300 ml, 310 ml, 345 ml, 380 ml, 400 ml
R-KER II – 300 ml, 345 ml, 400 ml
R-KEX II – 385 ml, 600 ml
R-KF2 – 345 ml, 380 ml, 400 ml
RM50, RP30, RV200  – 300 ml, 600 ml

Bonded anchors differ in terms of suitable tightening torques on account of the rod diameter and the substrate type. Refer to the products tab to find the installation parameters for your selected product. Read the appropriate tightening torque value based on the rod diameter.

Each resin has its own characteristic setting time, which is influenced by a number of factors. This includes the chemical composition of the resin, substrate and external temperature. Setting times of a Polyester resin is SHORTER than that of a pure epoxy. Refer to the products tab for detailed information on setting times of individual resins.

Metal or plastic mesh sleeves need to be used when anchoring a threaded rod into hollow substrates. Individual threaded rod diameters require specific sizes of the mesh sleeve and can be found in the TDS or ETA of the product.

With cracked concrete, use type R-KEX II, R-KER,  R-KER-II and CFS+RV200 resins.

R-KEX II, R-KER, R-KER-II, RV200 and R-HAC-V can be used with rebars.

The resins intended for masonry substrates are R-KEM II, RM50 as well as R-KER of the Copy-Eco system. You will find more detailed information about our products in the products tab.

According to ETAG, zinc-plated mechanical anchors are not suitable for outdoor applications. You can only use stainless steel anchors outdoors. You will find information about stainless steel anchors in the products tab. However, upon previous consultation with the technical advisor and under specific conditions, the R-HPTII-ZF anchors are conditionally approved for these applications.

Yes. Zinc-plated mechanical anchors are suitable for fixing of aluminium elements?

The mechanical anchors tested for fire resistance are:
R-HPTII-A4, R-HPTII-ZF, R-BP, R-SPL-II, R-DCA, R-DCL, R-DCL-A4.

The minimum zinc coat thickness is 5 μm, while the R-HPTII-ZF anchors are coated with at least 12 μm of zinc.

The following mechanical anchors can be installed in cracked concrete:
R-HPTII-A4, R-HPTII-ZF, R-RBL, R-SPL-II, R-DCA, R-DCL, R-DCL-A4.
You can find more detailed information about our products in the products tab.

Mechanical anchors are characterised by specific tightening torques which differ depending on the rod diameter and the substrate type. Refer to the products tab to find the anchor you use and the corresponding table containing installation parameters. Read the appropriate tightening torque value based on the rod diameter.

No. With R-DCA anchors, you should only use a setting tool of appropriate diameter (i.e. matching the anchor diameter) supplied by Rawlplug.

Yes. Type R-LX concrete screw anchors are suitable for multiple application.

C4. Upon consultation with our technical consultant they can also be used as for the C5 category.

It is possible to use R-HPT-ZF instead of A2 or A4 stainless steel anchors after consulting with technical support.

.For fixing applications in substrates made of materials other than reinforced concrete and concrete, use the R-RB mechanical anchor.  It is suitable for substrates such as class C20/25 hollow-core concrete slabs, solid brick of class ≥ 20, calcium silicate brick of class ≥ 15, lightweight hollow concrete blocks of class ≥ 5 or hollow concrete blocks for rib-and-slab floors.
You will find more detailed information about the R-RB anchor in the products tab.

It is recommended that drilled debri is removed from the hole using a manual blow pump, 4 times.

Graphical instructions of hole cleaning are provided in the products tab along with technical specifications of each mechanical anchor.

We recommend using a torque wrench for tightening of mechanical anchors, to ensure the required torque is achieved. By using a screw gun or other tools, you may damage the anchor or install it improperly which can result in a reduction in the load capacity of the anchors.

Provided that the substrate is made of concrete, you can fix insulation materials with the thickness of up to 980 mm using our roofing insulation fixings, in which case the solution of choice is GOK-725 R-WBT-61300. You will find detailed information about this product in the products tab.

R-WO, R-WBT are WW fixings are intended for wood. You will find more detailed information about these products in the products tab.

The fixings intended for concrete applications are R-WBT or R-WCS. You will find more detailed information about these products in the products tab.

Fixings should be stored loosely with enough space, so that they do not get crushed. You should handle long sleeves particularly carefully, as they can be subject to deformation and twisting. Additionally, nylon fixings should be secured against damping prior to installation.

The fixings intended for steel applications are WO, WX and WB. You will find more detailed information about these products in the products tab.

The number of fixings used on roofs depends on several factors, including the wind zone where the given roof is, the roof height from the ground and the building foundation altitude above sea level. In order to determine the correct number of fixings, we recommend you to perform suitable calculations in the RooFix program, which is available here, or to contact the technical helpdesk, as provided below.

You should use R-WO and R-WW fixings. You will find more detailed information about our products in the products tab.

Our fixings can be used in environments of different corrosion categories, from C1 to C5. Individual types of fixings have been tested for compliance with the following categories:
C3 – WBT
C4 – WB, WO
C5 – WX

The fixing solutions which you can use for additional insulation purposes include the following products: TFIX-8M, TFIX-8S, KI-10N, KI-10NS, KI-10M. You will find more detailed information about our products in the products tab.

For making holes in ceramic substrates such as horizontally perforated bricks or gas concrete blocks, we recommend you to avoid percussion drilling. Refer to our products tabs for drilling depths.

Yes. This type is fixing is available upon request.

KWL flanges are designed to increase the pressure surface area. They are recommended for fixing of lamella wool, and they can be used together with TFIX, KL and KC fixings.

Increasing the embedment depth will not have a significant positive effect on the fixing load capacity, but it will in fact reduce its thermal insulation properties by creating a larger heat leakage bridge.

Laboratory tests have revealed that spacing of fixing pieces depends on a number of factors:
• Weight of the thermal insulation material, including glue, mesh and plaster,
• Type of material that the load bearing structure is made of,
• Height of the building being insulated.

In order to obtain the optimum number of connectors it is advisable to make calculations in EasyFix program.

The minimum embedment depth for facade pins is 25 mm. You will find detailed information about correct anchoring depth for facade pins in the products tab.

All facade insulation fixings are suitable for lamella wool as long as they are used with the recommended KWL insulation holding flange of 90 mm, 110 mm and 140 mm in diameter. You will find detailed information about these fixing solutions in the products tab.

On steel substrates, we recommend using the FS and WS screws, while you should use the FT screws on wooden substrates.  You will find more detailed information about these products in the products tab.

Using deep-set hammer-in fixings along with the KES insulation retaining caps makes it possible to avoid the spotted facade effect. You can use a number of products for deep-set installation, including the KI-10M pin. You will find more detailed information about this product in the products tab.

For purposes of fixing into ventilated facades, you can use various solutions, including KWL insulation retaining plates and WBT screw-in fixings. You will find more detailed information about our products in the products tab.

Nylon plugs are made of polyamide.

The fixing solutions recommended for drywall applications are FS and WS screws (on steel substrates) or FT screws (on wooden substrates). You will find more detailed information about our screws in the products tab.

Yes. Rawlplug has universal plugs in its product portfolio. They are marked as 4ALL, UNO, FIX and FX.

For fixing in solid as well as hollow substrates, use R-FF1 and R-FX-A2 stainless steel frame fixings.

You should not use the KMW fixing for suspended ceiling applications. Instead, we recommend you to use the R-GS anchor.

Both UNO and 4ALL are lightweight plastic wall plugs. During installation, the expasion effect with the 4ALL fixing takes place in the middle of the plug, whereas FOR the UNO fixing, it takes place near the collar.

No. Plastic plugs are not suitable for fixing in floor slabs. To achieve adequate fixing quality, you are recommended to use mechanical anchors.

Fixings including a plastic plug and stainless steel screw are suitable for outdoor applications. Moreover, R-FF1-ZF fixings can be used conditionally, but it is recommended that you first contact the technical advisor before installation.

You can use R-LX, WBT or WHO screws to fix in concrete. You will find more data concerning these products into the products tab.

The drilling capacity of self-drilling screws is established with reference to the given screw’s drilling bit length. You will find detailed information about our screws in the products tab.

We recommend OCW self-drilling screws for stitching of steel sheets. You can find more product data in the products tab.

You can use R-WBT or R-WW screws to fix into wood. You can find more product data in the products tab.
